Mistral Vibe, formerly Le Chat, is Mistral AI's assistant and agent for work and code, which chats, researches and carries out tasks across tools.
Mistral Vibe is the new name, since May 2026, for Le Chat, Mistral AI's assistant, now merged with its coding agent into one product. It still chats, searches the web with sourced answers, handles voice, and reads uploaded PDFs, images, spreadsheets and Office files. In Work Mode it plans a task, asks for sign-off, then works across connected tools such as Google Workspace, Outlook, Slack and GitHub to handle emails, reports or pull requests, with more than 100 connectors and scheduled tasks. Code Mode brings the coding agent to the terminal and IDE to write, test and change code across repositories. Vibe runs on the web, desktop and mobile, with a free plan and paid Pro, Team and Enterprise plans.
