Kimi
Kimi is Moonshot AI's chat assistant and agent, which answers questions, runs deep research, and builds slides, documents, sheets and websites.
Kimi is the AI assistant from Moonshot AI, a Beijing-based lab, available on the web, as a desktop app and on mobile. It runs Moonshot's Kimi models, including the open-weight Kimi K3 released in July 2026 with a 1M-token context window, and offers Instant, Thinking, Agent and Agent Swarm modes, the last of which splits a large job across many sub-agents. Built-in tools create slides in a chosen visual style, documents, spreadsheets, designs and websites, and Deep Research compiles sourced reports. Projects keep chats and files together, plugins extend the assistant, and tasks can be scheduled to run later. A free tier is available, paid memberships add higher limits and Kimi Code credits, and the models are also sold through an API.
