Gemini Notebook
Gemini Notebook, formerly NotebookLM, is Google's AI research tool that answers from uploaded sources and turns them into audio overviews.
Gemini Notebook is Google's source-grounded research and study tool, renamed from NotebookLM in 2026. Users add PDFs, Google Docs and Slides, Word files, websites, YouTube videos, audio files and pasted text to a notebook, and the AI answers questions with citations to those sources. It can turn the material into Audio Overviews, in which two AI hosts discuss it like a podcast, as well as Video Overviews, mind maps, reports, flashcards, quizzes, slide decks and infographics, with overviews in more than 80 languages. Notebooks sync with the Gemini app, and higher plans add a secure cloud computer that writes and runs code to analyse data in the sources. The free tier allows 100 notebooks with 50 sources each, and Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions raise those limits.
