Jab
Jab is a browser extension that highlights interface elements using a ranker for quick keyboard navigation.
Jab is a browser extension that helps users navigate web pages using keyboard shortcuts. Pressing Control plus Q highlights the interface control that the ranker predicts the user wants based on the current page and focused elements. Pressing Enter activates the highlighted control, such as pressing a button, following a link, or focusing a text field. Subsequent presses cycle through the top four picks, and holding the shortcut with numbers one through four jumps directly to a specific choice. The tool uses a lean LightGBM tree model running entirely in the browser CPU without sending data over the network, ensuring privacy. The software is open source under the MIT license.
