DADGPT Costume is an interactive application designed for Halloween parties. Users wear a black t-shirt and hat, place a phone sideways on the brim, and pin a printed logo to the chest. People can walk up to the costume to talk to Dad and receive a dad joke, or use the camera feature to get roasted based on what the app sees. The browser records speech, a language model generates a pun, and the device speaks it out loud. Photos taken by the camera are never saved. The platform provides vector files and a PDF for printing the logo, and shares code on GitHub along with instructions for Claude Code or coding agents.
