Screenplay creates screen recordings of websites and desktop apps using AI agents. You give a prompt to an agent like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, and the agent writes a short scenario. Screenplay then plays the scenario, films it, and edits the video with smooth cursor movements, automatic zooms, click effects, callouts, captions, and optional voice-overs. It supports websites and desktop apps on macOS, Windows, and Linux. The tool does not contain AI itself and needs no model key; your agent does the thinking while Screenplay handles filming and editing. It outputs MP4 files up to 4K resolution and supports voice-over integration via Cartesia, ElevenLabs, or custom audio files.
