OpenFilm
OpenFilm is an open source AI video agent that turns coding agents into video creators with a local editor.
OpenFilm lets your coding agent make videos and lets you edit them using a local editor that runs in your browser. Ask Codex, Claude Code, or any coding agent to make a film, and it writes the film as web pages while Studio shows it taking shape. You can change anything by hand or by asking, moving and scaling elements, trimming clips, and editing text and styles. Films are built as a single HTML file using web technologies like three.js, WebGL, canvas, SVG, CSS, and GSAP. It requires Node 22.2+ and ffmpeg, running on macOS, Windows, or Linux. You can connect your own keys for generated voice, music, images, and video services like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Google, and fal. It exports videos, GIFs, sound stems, subtitles, stills, and timelines for Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
