Whatsapp MCP is an MCP server that enables AI agents to search and read WhatsApp messages and manage contact names.
This read-only server allows MCP-compatible AI clients like Claude Code and Claude Desktop to search and read personal WhatsApp messages. Running inside a user's Cloudflare account, it links via WhatsApp Web pairing using the Baileys library. Messages are stored in a SQLite database inside a Durable Object, keeping all data private to that account. The server periodically pulls incoming messages without staying continuously connected and cannot send messages. Media files are not downloaded, appearing instead as placeholder labels.
