Ultimate SD Upscale

Ultimate SD Upscale is a ComfyUI node pack that enlarges images by redrawing them in tiles with a diffusion model, adding detail on modest hardware.

Ultimate SD Upscale brings the Ultimate Stable Diffusion Upscale script from the Automatic1111 web UI to ComfyUI as a set of nodes maintained by ssitu. An image is first enlarged with an upscale model, then split into tiles, and each tile is run through the image-to-image diffusion process and blended back together. Working in tiles keeps each pass at a size the diffusion model was trained on, which adds detail to the enlarged image while reducing the hardware needed. Settings control tile size, padding, mask blur and seam fixing, so visible joins between tiles can be repaired. The nodes appear under image/upscaling in ComfyUI, come with example workflows, and install through ComfyUI Manager, comfy-cli or git. The project is free and open source under the GPL-3.0 licence.
