SILO is a self-hosted developer CLI tool designed to run untrusted AI agents inside hardened Docker sandboxes with controlled egress, credential-managed integrations, and transparent inference auditing. It protects host systems by dropping Linux capabilities, running agents as non-root users, and routing LLM calls through a host-side proxy that injects API keys so the agent never sees them. Users can inspect all activities through a unified JSONL audit log and configure declarative YAML egress policies.
