Porch
Porch is an open-source macOS work log that summarizes Claude Code and Codex sessions by project, day, week and month.
Porch is a Mac application that summarizes work done by Claude Code and Codex coding agents. It breaks down activity by project, day, week and month, estimating time per task and tracking blockers and open work. The app runs locally on Apple Silicon Macs, reading session records and usage data directly from the machine. Summaries can be exported as Markdown files into an Obsidian vault or another designated folder. Users can monitor token usage, API-equivalent costs, and limits for Claude and Codex. Privacy is prioritized by keeping session state, tokens, and costs on the Mac, while summary generation uses the selected agent to communicate with Anthropic or OpenAI.
