Pmtui is a native Rust supervisor and terminal dashboard for long-running Claude and Codex coding sessions. Each project session owns one persistent tmux terminal that is nudged on a cadence to keep making progress toward a set goal. It escalates to a human only when a decision genuinely needs one. The product consists of two binaries: pmd, an optional headless driver that runs the heartbeat and desktop notifications, and pmtui, a ratatui dashboard that reads file-based on-disk state. Users can create sessions, attach to terminal REPLs, turn on autopilot, view task cards, and delegate work to child jobs in separate git worktrees. It requires tmux 3.0 or newer and a recent stable Rust version for source builds.
