Pi Optchat is a Pi extension implementing Victor Taelin's OptChat recipe for persistent infinite memory. It maintains one endless chat per profile, remembered through a summary tree instead of compaction. Every message is logged and summarized into a binary tree, and each turn starts from a fresh context holding a bounded memory view. Users can create separate profiles for different contexts like work and personal. It supports subagents to delegate tasks in the background, inspect them live, and send guidance. Users can import history from Claude Code, Codex, or ChatGPT, and connect a second Pi window as a subagent.
