PhotoCraft Companion is an extensible plugin ecosystem and floating toolstrip designed for the PhotoCraft graphics editor. It executes neural vision tools and custom macros directly on open canvas layers using a local JSON-RPC socket connection and the system clipboard. Unlike internal sandboxed plugins, it accesses local hardware via DirectML and ONNX Runtime for GPU acceleration with automatic CPU fallback. Supported neural capabilities include background removal with Bria AI RMBG-1.4, object removal and inpainting with LaMa, and 2x image upscaling with Real-ESRGAN Compact.
