PACT
PACT is a protocol enabling personal agents to contact brand support agents with verifiable identity and user permissions.
The Personal Agent Consent and Trust Protocol lets a personal agent contact a brand support agent with a verifiable identity and specific user permissions. The personal agent fetches the brand agent card to discover messaging endpoints and scopes. The personal agent then sends signed requests using a short-lived JSON Web Token while carrying a stable, anonymous user identifier. Users sign in directly on the brand login page to approve individual scopes without sharing credentials with the agent. The personal agent receives a delegation token to act on the user account within the granted scopes.
