Napali
Napali is a web-based digital simulation that renders a drone flight over the Na Pali coast entirely in code.
Napali is a code-based simulation that renders a continuous drone flight over the Na Pali coast in Kauai. It uses no downloaded assets, textures, 3D models, or images, generating terrain, erosion, coastline, ocean, surf, reefs, and vegetation entirely through WebGL2 shaders and JavaScript. The project runs directly in a browser from a single self-contained index.html file. It includes support for a still image mode and keyboard controls for playback. Built with Claude Code using parallel specialist agents, it targets users with WebGL2-compatible browsers and capable graphics hardware.
