Nano Banana
Nano Banana is Google's AI image model in the Gemini app for generating images and editing photos, now in its Nano Banana 2 version.
Nano Banana is the name of Google's image generation and editing models, used through the Gemini app and other Google products. The latest version, Nano Banana 2, generates high-quality images from a prompt and edits photos with precise control, such as changing the lighting from a sunny day to a moody night, trying different camera angles or adjusting focus. It can take the texture, colors or style of a reference photo and apply them to a subject, combine several pictures, resize images for any format without cropping out details, and place clear text in many languages for logos, invitations, posters and comics. In the Gemini app it is used from the Create image tool with Fast, Thinking or Pro models, and Google AI Pro, Plus and Ultra subscribers can redo an image with Nano Banana Pro. Images carry an invisible SynthID watermark.
