Morphic is an open-source AI answer engine that searches the web and shows cited answers with generated images, grids and other rich layouts.

Morphic is an AI search engine whose answers are grounded in web results and cite their sources. Instead of plain text, answers can include inline components such as source-credited images, grids and headings, rendered live as the model streams its reply. It offers Quick and Adaptive search modes, a model selector covering OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Ollama, Vercel AI Gateway and OpenAI-compatible providers, and search through Tavily, SearXNG, Brave or Exa. Chat history is stored in PostgreSQL, results can be shared by link, and files can be uploaded. The project is open source under the Apache 2.0 license and can be self-hosted with Docker Compose or deployed to Vercel.
