Minecraft Agent Harness

Minecraft Agent Harness is an open source framework that runs language model agents in Minecraft using Mineflayer tools and shell sandboxes.

Minecraft Agent Harness connects language models to Minecraft servers to play the game autonomously. It uses Mineflayer so agents can walk, mine, craft, build, fight, and chat like regular players. Users can configure Claude, GPT, Gemini, OpenRouter, or custom endpoints using the OpenAI Responses API. Each agent gets a persistent session that survives restarts and a dedicated shell sandbox via Docker, E2B, or a local folder. Teams are configurable through a single JSON file to enable direct messages and shared environments.
