MiMo Code
MiMo Code is Xiaomi's open-source terminal coding agent, built on OpenCode and its MiMo models, for long, multi-step development tasks.
MiMo Code is an open-source command-line coding agent from Xiaomi, released in June 2026 under the MIT license. It is an extended fork of OpenCode, so it keeps multi-provider support, a terminal interface, language server integration, MCP and plugins, and it uses Xiaomi's MiMo-V2.5-Pro model by default. Xiaomi added a persistent memory that keeps project understanding across sessions, context management for long runs, subagent orchestration, goal-driven autonomous loops, compose workflows and self-improvement mechanisms, and it reported strong results on tasks of more than 200 steps. The agent reads and writes code, runs shell commands, manages git, and supports slash commands, resumable sessions, skills, hooks and git worktrees. It installs with one command on macOS and Linux or through npm on Windows.
