Mesh Avatar Studio turns a single front-facing PNG illustration into an animated 2D mesh avatar that blinks, talks, turns its head, breathes, and sways its hair. A coding agent like Claude Code or Codex prepares the avatar from your image, and you fine-tune the rig in a local editor with a live preview. You can drag dots to fix part placement, use camera and microphone tracking for live performance, and stream the transparent avatar directly into OBS. The software runs locally with Node.js and requires no external paid cloud subscription. It supports MediaPipe for face tracking and includes a sample character named Miko.
