LLM Gauze
LLM Gauze is an HTTP gateway that fixes open-weight local language model deficiencies and logs exchanges.
LLM Gauze is an HTTP gateway that operates between clients and local language models served via an OpenAI-compatible API. It detects and fixes model shortcomings such as transient errors without retries, silently hung or looping models, empty or sloppy responses, context-window overflows, runaway reasoning, and malformed tool calls. The software logs every exchange and remediates issues before the client receives the output. It runs as a published container image using Docker Compose and exposes an OpenAI-compatible API. Operational metrics are exposed in Prometheus text format or JSON.
