Kavach
Kavach is a flight recorder and replay tool that captures service crashes into fixtures for fast debugging and fix verification.
Kavach records inputs, clock reads, and random reads from a service to capture crashes into compact fixtures. When a step fails, it flushes a .kavach fixture that replays byte for byte in microseconds without requiring a broker, database, or network. It verifies candidate fixes against perturbed variants of the incident to ensure patches are general rather than narrow. The tool supports 12 languages via SDKs including Go, Python, TypeScript, Rust, Java, C and C++, Julia, Ruby, PHP, Elixir, Haskell, and OCaml. It includes a CLI, a Model Context Protocol server, and agent skills for AI-assisted coding and verification.
