GPT-Migrate
GPT-Migrate is an open-source tool that uses a large language model to port a codebase to another language or framework.
GPT-Migrate walks a codebase and rewrites it toward a target language or framework, for example Node.js via python main.py --targetlang nodejs. It expects Docker to be running so it can build and test as it goes. The authors recommend at least GPT-4, preferably GPT-4-32k, and accept an OpenRouter key by default or an OpenAI key when --model is set. Installation is through Poetry or pip. The README warns that migration is costly and non-trivial, that the current version should not be trusted blindly, and that token costs add up because the tool may rewrite the whole tree.
