Enframe is a sidecar application that wraps any OpenAPI specification into a live Model Context Protocol server. It accepts Swagger 2.0 and OpenAPI 3.0 through 3.2 specifications, and emits tool schemas as JSON Schema 2020-12. The application infers mixed authentication schemes including API keys, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect. It maps OpenAPI operations, parameters, request bodies, and responses to MCP tool concepts, titles, descriptions, and input or output schemas. Compatible clients include Pi, OpenCode v2 CLI, MCP Inspector, and VS Code.
