Diorama is an AI-powered tool built at the Meta AI Global Hackathon that turns a crayon sketch or a single sentence into a small, playable paper diorama world. It uses Meta models like Muse and SAM to read sheets, plan places, paint cut paper and cardboard worlds, and cut objects into paper cards and depth maps. The system builds places, casts, items, locks, and endings, checking every result with code to ensure it is playable. It handles layout, paint, cut-outs, staging, 3D character models, sound, and voices. Supported integrations include Meta's Muse models, SAM 3.1, Depth Anything V2, ElevenLabs, MusicGen, and TRELLIS. The tool runs on a computer as a command-line tool and a browser Studio app, and users can export worlds as static web pages for hosting.
