Claudish To English is a Claude Code plugin that shows a plain-English rewrite of each assistant message. The rewrites are produced by a local LLM via ollama by default, or through the codex CLI, the Anthropic API, or any OpenAI-compatible API. The plugin is display-only, meaning Claude's original reasoning and saved transcript remain unchanged while only the on-screen reading changes. It follows the message's original language or the configured Claude Code language setting. An optional second hook can also rewrite Markdown files into plain language when they are written or edited. It fails open if errors occur, ensuring it never corrupts or swallows an answer.
