Brave Leo is the AI assistant built into the Brave browser that summarizes pages, answers questions and analyzes documents, with no chats kept.

Leo is the AI assistant inside the Brave browser on desktop and mobile, opened from the address bar or a toolbar icon. It can summarize the page in the current tab, generate content, translate, analyze text, and work with PDFs, Google Docs and Google Sheets, and it uses Brave Search to add current information to answers. Leo does not retain or share chats or use them for training, and it needs no account or login, while temporary chats are deleted as soon as they are closed. Users can set preferences that Leo remembers across chats, organize tabs by topic, and bring their own local or remote AI models. Leo is free, with Leo Premium adding higher limits and more models.
