Ask-Anything
Ask-Anything is OpenGVLab's open VideoChat family of models for chatting about video and images.
Ask-Anything is the home of OpenGVLab's VideoChat models, end-to-end chatbots for video and images. VideoChat3, released 17 July 2026, is a fully open 4B video multimodal model for general, long-form and streaming understanding; the authors report gains on 18 of 19 offline and 10 of 11 streaming metrics over Qwen3-VL-4B, and they publish weights, code, recipes and datasets. Earlier lines include VideoChat-Flash and VideoChat-TPO for long and accurate video, and VideoChat2, which had a vLLM branch and led the open VideoLLM scores on MLVU in June 2024. A VideoChat-7B-8Bit chatbot and InternVideo2-Chat-8B-HD are also listed. Papers and evaluation scripts sit in the repository.
